Team Leader - Learning Disability, Autism, and Challenging Behaviors

We are seeking passionate and hard working Team Leaders to lead our client's teams, ensuring their service users enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, actively participate in their community, and develop their abilities. As a Team Leader, you will supervise and motivate a team of support workers to deliver the highest quality of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead, mentor, and motivate support staff to provide exceptional care and support to service users.
  • Promote Independence: Encourage independence, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of care.
  • Efficient Shift Management: Ensure shifts are managed efficiently, including planning and executing daily tasks, medication management, and community-based activities.
  • Compliance and Standards: Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Hands-On Support: Provide hands-on support as needed, offering flexibility and adaptability in your role.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, including service users, families, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a similar setting.
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Social Care or equivalent.
  • This role requires flexibility within contracted working hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
