What will you do as a Governance Professional?
- Provide advice, support and guidance in relation to governance best practice
- Providing effective clerical and administrative support to school governing boards
- Implementing, monitor and review systems for the quality control of board documentation
- Work closely with the Board in relation to forward planning and compliance
- Attend governance meetings and provide accurate minutes
- Ability to build/maintain relationships with the Board, it's chair and senior leaders
What do you need to be a Governance Professional?
- Experience as a senior administrator, including taking and producing accurate minutes
- Knowledge of school governance and compliance would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Experience in using a range of ICT packages
- Able to travel to various locations throughout the West Midlands
- Ability to work flexible hours (including some evening work)
