Our client:

A leading facilities management company, providing essential services to a range of clients across the UK. We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to take a leadership role in our finance department, ensuring efficient financial operations and supporting our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow, financial planning, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors, prepare for year-end audits, and handle tax matters.
  • Lead and support a small finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior management to support business decisions with financial insights.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and financial process improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a finance management role, preferably within facilities management or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • High proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
