A leading facilities management company, providing essential services to a range of clients across the UK. We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to take a leadership role in our finance department, ensuring efficient financial operations and supporting our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, prepare for year-end audits, and handle tax matters.
- Lead and support a small finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Work closely with senior management to support business decisions with financial insights.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and financial process improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in a finance management role, preferably within facilities management or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- High proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
