Butler Rose are proud to be working with a reputable firm based in Bridgwater who are looking for a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join their established team. This role is available due to sustained growth, the firm has experienced significant expansion over the past years, and pride themselves on maintaining a friendly and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities in this Tax Senior role:
- Preparation of tax returns for a designated portfolio of clients
- Support managers and senior team members in tasks related to client service
- Assist junior staff with their workflow, contributing to their progression and development
- Respond to ad-hoc client queries, liaising with specialists internally and externally
- Participate in client meetings
- Prepare internal and external materials on topical tax issues facing clients, staying proactive in line with sector changes and UK legislation
Required Skills for this Tax Senior role:
- 4 years or more of strong experience in an accountancy practice.
- Previous experience with accounts production
- Experience in client management, handling a portfolio of clients.
- Previous experience supporting junior staff in both output and development.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
In exchange for this Tax Senior role you will receive:
- 35-hour working week
- Starting salary of £34,000 (negotiable depending on qualification & experience level)
- 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, increases with length of service
