Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our market leading manufacturing client with their search for a Quality Manager.
Overall Purpose:
- Reporting to the General Manager, the Quality Manager will oversee the activity of the quality department team, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and testing for the organizations products and processes.
Key Duties:
- Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required customers specifications for quality.
- Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Review customer feedback on quality concerns, recommending and facilitating solutions to the issues, via 8D, Ishikawa etc.
- Oversea and manage the QMS, (Quality Management System)
- Continuous improvement in quality processes.
- Supplier management / subcon
- Ensure CSR (customer specific requirements) are being met.
- Direct contact for all customers non-conformances.
- Manage quality KPI's.
- Ensure ongoing compliance to ISO9001 and IATF 16949 automotive standards.
- Manage the internal and external audit schedule, maintaining compliance with VDA 6.3 methodology and framework.
- Collate scrap data and report the cost of poor quality via the monthly report.
- Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team and other appropriate members of staff.
The Package:
- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
- Day shift role, currently working Monday to Wednesday 7am to 5pm Thursday 7am to 3pm. Will likely increase back to Mon-Fri in the future.
