You will work within the Global Emerging Markets (GEM) business which covers a comprehensive EM product suite of FX, Rate and Credit from vanilla to complex products. It provides access to onshore & offshore markets via direct or electronic channels, as well as synthetic formats. In addition, it also provides financing solutions spanning capital markets, loans and asset-backed financing, from investment grade to distressed. The client base coverage spans the entire spectrum including sovereigns, quasi-sovereigns as well as global / local institutional and corporate clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Managing product flows along with pricing and risk management / portfolio optimization.
  • Providing liquidity to Deutsche Bank Clients who range from financial institutions to corporates.
  • Responsible for execution, trade capture and PNL signoff for the trading books.
  • Continuous exploration of overall platform enhancements.
  • Being aware and monitoring all rate volatility markets and identifying opportunities between different markets plus ability to develop hedging strategies.
  • Client engagement - Market share acquisition.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in CEEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) Rates & FX trading and market making business. Strong quantitative skills (preferably in econometrics) and product knowledge.
  • Deep knowledge of CEEMEA Local Markets including an understanding of onshore and offshore dynamics
  • An understanding and proficiency managing risk in trading books - interest rate risk, Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) and cross currency (xccy) basis risk.
  • A deep understanding of debt capital/bond markets, credit environment and comfortable pricing a variety of instruments, including interest swaps, cross-currency swaps, Forward Rate Agreements (FRAs).
  • Very strong money management skills. Liquidity provider / Market maker profile. Driven to provide very competitive liquidity to client base.
