We are seeking a dedicated KS1 & KS2 Class Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Ripon. This part-time position offers an immediate start and runs until June 2025, with standard hours from 8.30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in both KS1 and KS2, fostering a love for learning and academic excellence.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to differentiate instruction and meet the individual learning needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of each student, addressing their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to guide their learning journey, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for growth.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and conduct, serving as a positive role model for students and colleagues alike.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are welcome to apply.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service, or willingness to apply for one, is essential.
  • Team Teach training is desired but not essential, as training can be provided.
