Senior Openlink/Endur Developer - C#, Open Components/JVS sought by leading commodities trading organisation based in London.
- *Inside IR35 - 3 days a week onsite**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experienced developer (around 10+ years development experience) with a record of delivering robust enterprise-wide solutions utilizing industry standard practices
- Design and develop applications using agreed coding standards and quality targets.
- Liaise with immediate scrum team, other scrum/project teams, line manager and development leads to ensure accurate and complete delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of software development best practices within the business.
- Support and mentor other developers in all areas of the development lifecycle.
- Provide regular status updates, reflecting individual progress against the development schedule.
KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
Expertise of back-end development to include most of the following:
- C#
- .Net 6+
- Rest API's incorporated with SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase DB
- SOAP based web services
- In depth knowledge of scripting using Openlink JVS, ReportBuilder
- Connex, Open Components, WebServices Gateway
- Messaging technologies like MQ/JMS
- Understanding and applicability of design patterns
- Github, Jira, Crucible, Confluence
- Entity Framework
Demonstrate a good understanding of:
- API Design and development fundamentals
- API testing using tools such as Swagger
- Good SQL/Sybase knowledge
- Building modern applications with C#
- Modern design principles. e. Able to take initial design direction and interpret those guidelines to finalize the design through to a solution
