Job description:

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm and Maintenance Engineer to join our established team based in High Wycombe and covering the south east of England with possible visits in other UK regions.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will be field based with most works taking place within a 50 mile radius of the M25. There is the odd occasion where you may need to travel further afield to one of our national clients, so a willingness to travel and overnight stays if required is essential.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs to Fire Alarms , Emergency Lighting , identifying faults and emergency call outs.
  • Commissioning of Newly installed fire alarm systems.
  • Accurately record data on company software and update asset registers.
  • Maintain the high standard of client care face to face, telephone and emails.
  • Ensure compliance with systems
  • Collaborate with Operations Team to ensure job sheets & reports are submitted .
  • Identifying additional client requirements .
  • Experienced to combine geography (travel time) and time required on site per task to optimise efficiencies.
  • Liaising with other Engineers to ensure workload are allocated accordingly.
  • Providing 1st class support and feedback to a diverse client base.

Experience required:

Proven experience in all disciplines of the Active Fire Alarms and Maintenance.

Strong communication skills with the ability to manage your workload.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Analytical mindset with problem solving abilities.

Effective communication skills at all levels of the organisation.

Willingness to undertake Training when required.

  • System Knowledge a& experience of Apollo /Gent/ Notifier and Advance
  • Electrical background .
  • Collaborate with the Senior Active Manager to maintain continuous improvement .
  • Capable of carrying out complex fault finding tasks across closed and open protocol systems
