About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our excellent school in September. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or teaching assistance.
