My client is a growing business who operate globally within the high-end luxury interiors market. Specialists in bespoke lighting solutions for customers in the Luxury hospitality, Marine and hi-end residential sectors.

The Head of HR position is responsible for overseeing all HR processes for my client including procedures across global offices in London, Dubai, Bangkok, India and Singapore.

This is a new role following a sustained period of growth. My client now has a head count of 100+ employees with further recruitment planned.

The Head of HR will be responsible for shaping and driving the HR strategy, fostering an engaging and inclusive work environment and encouraging a positive work culture. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, training & development, and health and safety.

This person will be a confidant to the team, providing guidance, support and counsel to all staff where necessary, serving as a link between the Management Team and staff on any relations' issues.

Working closely with the management team, the Head of HR will implement best practice procedures and processes. They will challenge and finesse current procedures to ensure continuous improvement in the changing needs of the practice, as well as compliance with global employment laws.

Development and communication of policies and procedures is essential to ensure the professional development of all staff, ensuring they are motivated at work, have the training they need to excel and a development plan in place.

Key Responsibilities will include -

  • Recruitment & Staffing
  • Performance Management
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Training & Development
  • Salary & Benefits
  • Compliance & Policies
  • HR Strategy & Planning
  • Health & Safety

This is an opportunity to work with a business that has ambitious growth plans and offers the right person a chance to shape the HR function and strategy.

The right person will be confident in using their experience to put in place strategic HR plans and processes, but equally happy with the day to day administration tasks of the HR function in a small business, this would include basic admin around holiday reporting and sickness.
