Accounts Assistant

Adele Carr Recruitment is partnering with an established and growing company based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a credit controller to join their team

The company is going from strength to strength and it is a fabulous time to join their friendly team.

You will be a experienced accounts assistant that is a confident communicator and is comfortable working in an open plan office, have experience working with a wide range of customers and can resolve queries efficiently and effectively.

The role

On a day-to-day basis you will (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Bank Processing (Receipts and Payments)
  • Credit Card transaction reconciliations and posting
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Hire Invoice Processing
  • Management of the accounts inbox - dealing with queries effectively
  • New Customer Accounts - credit checks and opening of accounts
  • Assisting with Month End tasks
  • To support the Finance Team

The Candidate

  • Accounts administration experience
  • Good Excel skills
  • Ability to trouble shoot effectively
  • A Confident communicator
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
