Due to growth and major planned projects, we are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a leading UK manufacturer of staircases, balconies and steel/ glass structures, based on the northern side of Nottingham, working DAYS!
This Fabricator Welder role is a permanent position offering an hourly rate of £14-16.50 per hour dependent on experience working Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm with overtime available during busy periods. Key responsibilities will include:
- High quality sheet metal fabrication work within a production environment and wider operations department
- Fabrication and Welding of Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
- Building Subcomponents using Jigs then fitting to pre-assembled machine skeletons
- Working from manufacturing drawings
- Working within a highly skilled and qualified welding team
We are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous TIG and MIG Welding to high standards in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings accurately
- Capable of welding/ fabricating mild steel and stainless steel
- Experience of operating saws and overhead cranes would be advantageous
- Some basic Mechanical work will be involved but full training will be given
- Demonstrable experience of working to exceptionally high personal standards, taking pride in the quality of your work
