Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (hours of cover may vary)

Dates required are as follows:-

  • 14/6, 17/6 and 18/6 then from 27/8 to 30/8 inclusive.

We are looking for an experienced Secretary / Administrator to support one of our Private Medical Clients to cover holiday.

Key Responsibilities as Secretary / Administrator:

Patient liaison

  • First-point-of-contact response to patient queries (email and phone).
  • Provide high-standard non-clinical care to patients, make bookings, communicate with patients in a timely, professional and caring fashion.

Administration

  • Assist in management and coordination of the private clinic.
  • Booking patients into clinic, updating clinic lists and prepping any records for that clinic.
  • General admin/secretarial tasks, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion and order of prioritisation. These include careful scanning through of patient notes and correspondence from other clinicians and private GPs, sending letters, producing and prepping clinic letters, registering patients, updating patient databases.

Third-part supplier liaison

  • Manage cardiac test booking process by completing referral forms, liaising with scheduling teams and correct storage of results and keeping track of patient follow ups.

Key Requirements:

  • Medical background ideal but not essential.
  • Strong secretarial and administration experience.
  • MS Word and Excel.
  • MS Outlook.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Attention to detail.
