About the Role:

The role will start off on a temporary basis.

As our School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our school facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your duties will include:

  • General maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Ensuring the school grounds are well-kept and safe.
  • Security of the school premises, including locking and unlocking.
  • Assisting with the setup of school events and activities.
  • Monitoring and managing heating, lighting, and other systems.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic maintenance skills and experience in a similar role - essential
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as required.
