DESIGN ENGINEER
NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE COMPANY FOR A DESIGN ENGINEER
- Up to £44ph inside IR35 for a Design Engineer
- Up to £52.95 for a Approver/Authoriser
- Initial contract until 31/12/2024
- Onsite in Broughton
- 35 hour working week
- Overtime available at a premium rate
WHO WE ARE?
We are a globally recognized Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ a Design Engineer to conduct design investigations and formulating technical solutions for a range to tasks.
WHAT WILL DESIGN ENGINEER BE DOING?
- Managing manufacturing non-conformance, ensuring that all Design, Airworthiness, and safety requirements are met
- Liaising with other functions to ensure a fully integrated design solution
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing reactive and proactive 'lineside' build support and act as the focal point
- Conducting root cause analysis investigations into abnormalities arising from design queries
WE NEED THE DESIGN ENGINEER TO HAVE....
- Ability to use CATIA V5
- Experience identifying risks/opportunities
- Currently or previously held an Industry recognised design signatory delegation (Design Approval or Design Authorisation) is desired, but not essential to apply.
- The ability to go through a BPSS check
