Job Title: Gardening Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
**Pay Rate:**£11.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 18:30
Responsibilities:
- Grade plants into trays and pre-pack them for distribution.
- Load pre-graded plants onto a line for final packing.
- Plant young plants into their final pots.
- Lay out potted plants in the production area for optimal growth and organization.
- Perform various gardening tasks to ensure the nursery is well-maintained.
- Assist with watering, weeding, and general plant care.
- Engage in tasks that involve heavy lifting and physical labour.
Requirements:
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
