Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Relevant GCSE, 'A' level or graduate qualifications or equivalent
- Have effective communication
- An understanding of the behaviour patterns that might indicate problems such as substance abuse, bullying or child abuse
- Demonstrated resilience, compassion, and commitment to supporting SEN learners in an educational setting
- Ability to work with learners facing diverse learning challenges
- Confidence to support lead educators across different subjects
- Flexibility in educational approaches
Responsibilities
- Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
- Facilitate group and individual activities as directed by teachers
- Engaging with parents and caregivers to communicate student's progress
- Monitor and assess student progress under teacher guidance
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
- Provide teaching assistance in line with teacher-planned activities
