BI Analyst - Residential Property Management

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency. The BI Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, develop data models, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards. Initially the focus will be with the Residential Property Management business. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualization tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models, using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and data mining to support strategic initiatives and address business challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with a track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impact.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Team Overview

You will be working directly with Residential Property Management team with support from our Senior BI Analyst and the wider team including, web and DBA developers, system accountants, project managers and business analysts. You will also be working with the head of property management systems and head of technology and data strategy EMEA.
