Stock Controller

cellXion Ltd is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to join our head office based in Oxted, Surrey. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus benefits.

About the Stock Controller role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Stock Controller will work as part of a team responsible for the management of all goods in and out the business. The role will involve processing Sales Orders, issuing Purchase Orders, liaising with suppliers, maintaining stock levels, packing and shipping orders and processing RMAs on arrival.

Responsibilities as our Stock Controller will include:

  • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS) based on current orderbook and current forecast
  • Managing purchase orders via stock control system (Sage 200)
  • Maintaining stock levels of parts and accessories as needed or instructed
  • Tracking shipments worldwide and address any delays, sending a daily report internally
  • Processing Return Materials Authorisation (RMAs) in and out, liaising with 3rd party RMAs
  • Coordinating regular inventory audits both onsite and with 3rd party locations
  • Reviewing orderbook daily and process orders where possible
  • Updating inventory records (including daily shipments)
  • Assisting in the completion of inventory audits on and offsite

What we're looking for in Stock Controller:

  • Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or similar role
  • Previous experience of working within a technical or engineering environment is preferable but not essential
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Previous experience of working with an inventory management system
  • Demonstrable IT skills
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods shipping
  • Knowledge of Sage200 would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Familiar with MS office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
