Qualified Social Worker - North East Lincolnshire Council - Children in Care Team - Up to £37ph!

North East Lincolnshire's Children's Services is seeking qualified social workers with at least 2 years post-qualifying experience, including experience of working with children in long-term care to join our Children in Care team. You will be supporting children whose care plan is long-term care through to independence. We are based at an attractive seafront location with a view of the beach in Cleethorpes with access to ample low-cost parking, reasonably priced accommodation (if needed) and good access to community resources, shops and restaurants.

You will work with a supportive and collaborative team of colleagues including social workers, team managers, IROs, the virtual school, LAC health and family support workers. You will be responsible for regularly visiting children in their homes to ensure that all statutory requirements are being met and that positive relationships are being built so you can support our children to achieve permanence in a timely way, enjoy relationships with their family, understand their history and life story, and work towards achieving independence.
