Property Surveyor

Seven Resourcing are currently looking for a property Surveyor to work within Westminster.

Some Key Information is highlighted below:

Rate: This role is paying £300 per day.

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week.

Location: City-Wide as needed - Office based.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Area Repairs Manager (North West/South Central) to develop and implement systems for regular inspections of external and communal property areas. Identify reactive repair and cyclical maintenance needs, prioritizing and programming required works.
  • Work with Housing services colleagues to enhance quality and customer satisfaction for residents. Adopt a flexible approach to resource deployment within the Property Services Division to manage workload fluctuations.
  • Highlight key investment needs to the Property Planning and Assets Team for major works program planning. Provide technical support and manage the local delivery of the repairs term partnering contract to ensure compliance.
  • Implement and document the Council's health and safety policy for residents, staff, and contractors. Provide expert knowledge on health and safety law related to the construction industry.
  • Offer strategic leadership within the Housing portfolio, collaborating with Members, services, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high standards for repairs in residents' homes, effective complaint management, and comprehensive resolution of disrepair claims.
  • Process claims for works covered by the Council's insurance policy, ensuring team awareness of policy terms. Maintain Section 20 paperwork and insurance claims for pre and post inspections.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in responsive repairs, preferably in Housing.
  • Excellent knowledge of building pathology.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliability, methodical approach, and attention to detail.

  • 3 years referencing
