I am recruiting for a dynamic and fast-growing organisation in Manchester City Centre, who are seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12-week basis, however this could be extended further. The reason for the role is to support the business during a busy period, however due to the company's impressive growth over the last 12 months, there could be a need for this role to become permanent, however this is not guaranteed.
Please see below the key responsibilities of the role:
- Assisting the finance department with tasks relating to purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
- Processing invoices in a timely manner
- Process journals
- Daily and monthly reconciliation of all bank receipts and payments
- Processing payments
- Generating reports for the Finance Manager
- Assist with month end processes
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes, and experience:
- Previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant or similar
- Experience on SAGE 50 accounting software
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise your own workload accordingly
- A proactive approach to work
In return you will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.50ph, which will be paid weekly. You will have a minimum contract length of 12 weeks and will be working in a friendly, welcoming organisation with a brilliant culture.
