Job Description:
As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will provide expert legal advice and representation on complex employment law matters. Your role will involve advising clients on a wide range of employment issues, representing them in employment tribunals, and developing strategies to handle employment disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice on complex employment law matters, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, and employment contracts.
- Represent clients in employment tribunals and other dispute resolution proceedings.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external experts to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
- Stay current with developments in employment law and advise clients on potential impacts.
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years of experience in employment law.
- Proven track record of handling complex employment disputes and tribunal cases.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy, and employment contracts.
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Prior experience in a consulting capacity is a plus.
