Are you a Contracts Manager with experience in commercial landscaping? And wants to be part of a growing company that looks after its staff.
You'll play a crucial role in our Senior Management Team, working closely with the Directors on the future of the business, and leading our landscaping department. Your role is pivotal in Creating outstanding outdoor spaces that make the world better for our communities and families.
Responsibilities
- Departmental strategy setting and implementation in line with the company strategy
- Financial performance against budget
- Team development & performance management
- Communication with the team at projects, department, and business level
- Handle Enquires
- Arrange and attend site visits and surveys
- Build quotations
- Procurement of supplier pricing for projects
- Attend pre-start meetings as required
- Production of RAMS
- Ordering materials
- Scheduling works
- Communication throughout the project
- Support other central functions such as finance, maintenance and the yard to ensure smooth, efficient business operations
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience carrying out a contracts manager role
- First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third-party stakeholders/contractors
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects at one time
- The ability to manage strict budgets
- The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking
Essential Requirements:
- Clean current UK driving licence
- Willingness to complete DBS checks
- Horticultural knowledge at degree or equivalent level
Salary Range £40-45k per year
