The Role
Our client is seeking a junior CAD Designer to provide CAD drawing support design to the Sales & Project delivery teams for all projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and amend 2D & 3D technical CAD drawings, visuals and renders - predominantly temporary structures and scaffold-based structures
- Ensure designs comply with legislations and client specifications
- Liaise with architects, engineers and designers
- Conduct site visits and surveys
- Present working drawings in all stages of the project
- Store design files and project information in accordance to the company procedures
- General health & safety within the office
The person
- Knowledge of AutoCAD in 2D & 3D is essential
- Knowledge of Sketchup is desirable
- Recognised qualification in Computer Aided Design is essential
- PC literate - ability to use Microsoft programs
- Hold a full UK driving license
