Become a Commercial Finance Business Partner
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role sits within a growing commercial team of eight. The team is expanding because they've been dropping financial wisdom bombs left and right, and the business is all ears.
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you'll develop a solid understanding of the business drivers, allowing you to provide valuable insights and influence strategic decisions. You'll be building strong relationships with senior managers, offering sound financial guidance, insights, value-add or questioning decisions to support their commercial choices
Your Mission
- Building Partnerships: As a dedicated Finance Business Partner to The Works management teams, you'll build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams. Think of it as networking with a financial twist!
- Financial Support and Insight: Your mission? Provide financial support for the best commercial choices. You'll deep-dive into data, connecting financial reports to business strategies. Imagine yourself as the financial storyteller, weaving numbers into actionable insights.
- Enhancing Financial Reporting: You'll improve how financial reports impact business performance. Options and scenarios? You've got 'em covered – like a financial 'choose-your-own-adventure'
- Operational Excellence: Ensuring key operational, commercial, and financial targets are met – consider it your superhero duty.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: You're the budget whisperer, supporting and questioning budget holders. Risks and opportunities? You'll spot them like a hawk!
- Continuous Improvement: When it comes to MI reporting, systems, and processes, you're all about progress. Embrace that improvement mindset!
- Monthly Management Accounts: Consider them your canvas – you'll own them and report to the board with confidence
