Experienced Service Engineers needed for an Engineering business in Telford, Shropshire.
This company, a frontrunner in the recycling systems industry, is looking for 2 passionate and skilled Service Engineers to join their dynamic team.
Although the company is based in Telford, this role will be covering the South of England, and it would suit someone who is based within that area of the UK, a company van will be provided for this role.
The hiring manager would like someone who has got some experience within the recycling industry, but they are happy looking at candidates who have a background in a heavy Engineering environment that has worked on Heavy Machinery/Equipment.
The annual salary is between £34,000 - £40,000 per annum, with overtime also available and paid at T1/2 when additional hours are worked.
What You Will Do:
- Install, commission, and repair a wide range of products including sorting systems, baling presses, shredders, and conditioners, covering mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical work.
- Provide PLC programming support to the electrical department as needed.
- Manufacture control systems in the company workshop, followed by onsite installation and commissioning, including PLC programming support.
- Support the workshop manager with various duties when site work is not available.
- Be prepared to work away from home, including international travel, for unspecified periods at short notice.
- Work overtime, including weekends and bank holidays, as required by the workload.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineering within a relevant industry.
- Strong skills in PLC programming and a willingness to provide support in this area.
- Flexibility to travel and work away from home, including international assignments.
- Commitment to working overtime and on weekends when necessary.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
