Ecommerce business based in Central London is looking for a PowerBI oriented BI / Data Analyst to join the team. Initially a 12 month fixed term contract, with long term prospects. They have a hybrid working policy with 1-2 days per week expected in the central London office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with a broad range of business stakeholders to understand Data and BI requirements.
- Translating requirements into functional specifications and solutions.
- Designing and building Power BI reports and dashboards. The focus is front end.
- Showcasing the solution to business stakeholders and providing support and training to users.
- Supporting wider business projects, especially where there is a data or data migration aspect to it.
- Dealing with change requests and taking them through the change process.
- There will be an opportunity to influence data strategy in the long term.
- An opportunity exists for someone so inclined to explore more back end or technical tasks regarding data warehouse / azure data bricks / data modelling etc.
About you
- An experienced Data Analyst / BI Analyst / Data Engineer with front-end development experience in Power BI.
- Competent user of Power BI.
- Comfortable with large data sets and experience in contributing to data cleansing and migration tasks.
- Strong analytical skills, able to analyse and suggest means of getting the best out of data sets.
- Good communication skills, with a desire to work with stakeholders and understand their needs.
- Basic knowledge across SQL / T-SQL / Python / Perl would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience of Google Analytics Shopify or other similar ecommerce data sets would be highly advantageous.
