Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Contract Duration: 14th October 2024 - 14th January 2025
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Sunday shifts.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Older People Services team at Barts NHS Hospital Trust. In this role, you will work with patients experiencing medical trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments, managing complex cases and coordinating discharge planning. You will also supervise junior staff and students, playing a vital role in their development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with medical, trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments.
- Manage complex cases and ensure effective discharge planning.
- Supervise and support junior staff and students.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in managing medical, trauma, frailty, and cognitive impairments.
- Competence in complex case management and discharge planning.
- Supervisory experience, including mentoring juniors and students.
