Job Description: Property Paralegal

The Role:

The successful candidate will assist our client's busy property team in handling a variety of conveyancing matters, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting solicitors with both residential and commercial property transactions.
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation, including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
  • Handling pre- and post-completion processes, including submitting registrations to the Land Registry.
  • Assisting in liaising with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing reports on various property-related matters.
  • Managing client files efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.

The Candidate

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property law, particularly conveyancing.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Holidays: Standard plus bank holidays

Salary: £22-24,000pa

  • This role would ideally suit a Paralegal who has had previous experience in both Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Conveyancing who has worked in a similar role and who is looking for career enhancement.
