Finance Manager - Programme Finance

As our next Finance Manager - Programme, you will play a pivotal role in Aston Martin Finance Operations team, being responsible for the financial control of future vehicle programmes and ensuring that they are planned and delivered in line with the company's strategic objectives& As a hands-on leader, championing a culture of leading by example and driving meaningful change is what fuels your passion. You will be part of a Car-line multidisciplinary team, led by the associated Vehicle Line Director.

Once joining us, your main goal is to drive the financial control of all Programmes within a defined car-line as well as ensuring that the overall car-line business makes returns in line with Aston Martin's strategic objectives and Business Plan.

You're not the type to shy away from challenges, and this role isn't for someone who isn't willing to take on responsibilities and strive for excellence. However, in this role, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact, deal with complex finance project issues, and be part of a high-performing team.

In addition, this role requires collaborative working with colleagues within Vehicle Programme Finance and other areas of Finance to continually improve the Finance processes and ensure that best practices are deployed across the whole department. It will also provide leadership and development of more junior members of the Vehicle Programme Finance team.

You will lead a team of & 2 analysts initially, reporting to Senior Manager - Finance Vehicle Life Cycle.

This role is brimming with dynamism, initiative and calls for an inspirational and passionate individual who can engage at all levels, building collaborative relationships, understanding internal customer needs, and communicating effectively no matter the sensitivity of the topic.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong ability to adapt quickly and flexibly to resolve multiple issues with appropriate prioritisation of time/resource.

Key Requirements:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Managing Programmes background
  • Strong relationship management proven experience
  • Previous people management experience in a fast-paced environment

As part of a team of 15 individuals you will report to Senior Manager – Finance Operations. Due to the sensitivity of the projects your presence in the office is needed, liaising with your internal clients being essential in your role. We are expecting you to be comfortable working from our Gaydon headquarter at least 2 days per week.
