Daily Rate: £100 per day (Dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join a successful SEN school in Longfield. The Headteacher is looking for a candidate who can make a significant impact on their students' education by creating a fun and engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of good and outstanding of behaviour management practices, confident in their abilities, and able to deliver effective communication with a positive approach.
Day to Day of the role:
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to support students with special educational needs.
- Build positive relationships with children, fostering an environment of trust and empathy.
- Contribute to creating a kind, caring, and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young adults is essential.
- Prior experience with SEN and/or physical disabilities is advantageous but not essential.
- Patience, empathy, and a willingness to build relationships with children.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Emotional resilience.
