Client Details

Opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join a leading food manufacturer in Bolton. The role provides support for all Health & Safety matters for their expanding estate which consists of a mixed property portfolio of office space, factory & warehousing.

The role reports into the Health & Safety Manager. You will work closely with all key stakeholders in the business including the Facilities & Production teams to ensure the site is fully compliant, minimise incidents and provide a safe working environment for it's 1100 staff.

Description

To provide support to the Health & Safety Manager to ensure a safe working environment across the site and keep incidents to a minimum.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out site audits / inspections / risk assessments
  • Deliver training to employees
  • Input KPI's and produce reports
  • Create signage
  • Deliver H&S related projects across the site

Profile

  • Experience working in a Health & Safety role within an industrial environment
  • NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma
  • Able to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of H&S compliance / legislation
  • Ability to lead a team of H&S professionals
