Design Specialist

Full Time – Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Design Specialist for our well-established client based in Ashford, this is a full time and permanent position.
A successful candidate will oversee the release, verification, approval, and upkeep of product labelling and documentation in accordance with corporate and external standards.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing support and guidance
on labelling matters to customers, cross-functional teams, production, suppliers, and distribution sites.
- Developing and maintaining
written procedures
for department operations.
- Organising project-related tasks and workloads for Labelling Specialists.
- Training associates on department-specific software as requested.
- Supporting
risk mitigation
in projects.
- Leading small to midsize projects with
minimal direction
from senior team members and management.
- Planning and tracking project status
to ensure deliverables are met.
- Designing product labelling and documentation in compliance with corporate and external standards.
- Supporting the department, handling advanced and
large-scale labelling design assignments

- Involving in planning and tracking projects, whilst
identifying and escalating risks
or issues as needed, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Ensuring
compliance
with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company procedures.
- Conducting meetings
to support projects and change activities, ensuring timelines are met.
- Promoting and participating in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Performing other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Educated ideally to GSCE level
or equivalent
as a minimum
- Previous experience
in an senior administrative based position
coordinating project's
effectively
- A positive can-do attitude
and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate including
Microsoft Office
- Able to
delegate tasks
and work towards
strict deadlines
- Analytical with a
strong attention to detail
- Able to work at a team as well as independently
- Excellent
communication skills
