SEND Administrator

Due to the growth of the Learning Development Department within this large secondary school in Hayes, Middlesex we are seeking an efficient and experienced SEND Administrator.

The SEND Administrator will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to the SEND department. Duties will include maintaining the SEND diary, scheduling review meetings and taking minutes, ensuring paperwork for SEND meetings (PEP, EHCP and professionals) is sent to all parties by deadlines and pupils' folders are kept up to date.

Working closely with the SENCo, the SEND Administrator will collate, analyse and interpret assessment data, including auditing data for accuracy. Referral forms for outside agencies will be completed, working to strict deadlines as set in terms of annual reviews and Educational Health Care Plans.

The successful SEND Administrator will have experience of working within secondary education, will possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy skills, coupled with a good working knowledge of ICT packages to support learning.

A confidential and discreet manner is required at all times, ensuring that information is managed in accordance with data protection and safeguarding requirements. You will have the ability to build and form good relationships with students and colleagues and be can relate to and motivate young people. Bringing bags of initiative, you can adapt to constantly changing situations effectively.

This is a term time only role (39 weeks of the year) on-site and full time, 8am - 4pm, 36 hours per week. No hybrid option available.
