I am looking for an experienced
Operations Lead
to join an innovative manufacturing organisation who specialise in
sensor and surveillance technologies.
This position will have
full responsibility for the manufacturing and supply chain functions,
ensuring products are delivery efficiently, in line with quality standard and in line with schedules and costs.

Job Description
- Setting strategy for the business manufacturing and supply chain to deliver and exceed the business goals.
- Leading the Operations function of the business to ensure consistent delivery to quality, schedule and cost.
- Day-to-day management of all aspects of manufacturing including interpreting customer and business demand, planning and executing production.
- Responsible for all shipping, import-export documentation and compliance. including shipping documentation, commodity codes, correct import duty etc.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in creating a vision and leading change to create a high-performing Operations function in engineering businesses involved with medium-volume electromechanical products.
- Demonstrable experience in leading the strategic, tactical and commercial aspects of both global supply chains and in-house manufacturing.
