Successful food producer require a Category Insights Manager to help drive category management and commercial strategies. Applicants need; data analysis, insights and storytelling experience ideally within an FMCG, or customer centric environment
The Category Insights Manager will work closely with procurement, sales, category management and commercial teams to drive strategic vision and direction of category/product strategies, in order to maximise revenue and profitability (for business and customers). Using financial, sales, category and consumer/shopper insight, the Category Insights Manager will tell a story of the market to help grow business and customer sales.

Specific duties of the Category Insights Manager include:
- Customer Relationship Management (major retailers)
- Deliver recommendations in regards for; range, space, merchandising layouts of the category
- Support Category Managers and Commercial Managers with Project and NPD opportunities
- Identification of category opportunities
- Ownership of budgeting, tracking and reporting processes
Category Insights Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in an Insights or Category related role within Food, FMCG or retail
- Experience of working with customers in the retail industry and building relationships
- Ability to analyse data and trends from various sources
- Stakehlder influencing skills
- Storytelling skills
