Full Time Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £90 - £100 a day depending on experience

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant seeking a new role in Brent? If so, we want to hear from you.

Teach Plus are currently working with a mainstream primary school in the heart of Brent who are seeking 2 Learning support assistants to start after the October half term. This continues to be an outstanding school where pupils' behaviour is outstanding. Both staff and pupils enjoy coming to school, and senior leadership will provide ongoing support to push you to achieve your full potential.

For this learning support assistant role, you will be required to work on a one-to-one basis with pupils with SEN. You will be expected to interventions in Phonics, English, or Maths whilst writing detailed observation and provide suitable next steps. In this role there will be elements of personal care involved.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to:

  • Support on a one-to-one basis with pupils with SEN.
  • Updating pupils' files regarding their progress.
  • Supervise during play and mealtimes.
  • Have to support with personal care.

The ideal candidate for a Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Teaching Assistant CACHE Level 3.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Right to work within the UK.
  • Overseas criminal clearance.
