? Working hours: 10am -1pm, Monday to Friday

In this role, you will support the Cook Supervisor in daily kitchen operations, ensuring students, staff, and visitors enjoy a delightful dining experience that meets the highest standards of taste and value. From food preparation to maintaining cleanliness, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for all.
�? Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in food and beverage preparation and service, following the organisation's standards.
- Set up the dining area for service, ensuring a clean and inviting space.
- Transport food and beverages safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Clean and sanitise dishes, utensils, tables, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to kitchen work practises.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Be flexible and work at various stations within the kitchen unit.
- Open and lock up catering areas as needed.
?? Requirements:
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade A-C or equivalent.
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent.
- Experience in food preparation in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and Food Hygiene regulations.
