Production Assembler

- Hours - 8.15am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday 8.15-4.15pm Fridays
- Duration: 3 months, likely to be longer
We are seeking a Production Assembler to join our client on a short-term contract, you will be focusing on assembling a range of electro-mechanical units and electronic circuit boards to create high-quality educational products. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with their hands, and is committed to producing work of the highest standard.
Day to day of the role:
- Assemble and wire electro-mechanical units.
- Solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
- Pick component parts to form sub-assembly kits, supporting the Stores Department as needed.
- Carry out additional tasks as reasonably required, ensuring high-quality output.
- Adhere to production documentation and ensure products meet company standards.
- Report any shortages and defects accurately and promptly.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations as outlined in the Company Rulebook.
No specific experience is required as full training is given however you must be:
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Ability to follow formal procedures and production documentation.
- Competence in using hand tools, screwdrivers and equipment.
- Willingness to learn and operate equipment within the Production Department.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
