Credit Controller

CantelloTayler Recruitment is recruiting for a Credit Controller to join an organisation based nr Egham. This is a full-time permanent role, fully office based, and the ideal candidate must be a driver due to location.

The Credit Controller duties will include:

Key duties:

  • Chasing payment of overdue accounts via phone, email, and letter.
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Reconciling the Trust bank account
  • Dealing with queries both internally and externally to ensure smooth & timely resolution.
  • Allocating self-bill payments and using the managed service portals.
  • Opening and setting up new accounts
  • Maintaining / updating customer details to ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Reviewing ledger with the finance director to highlight any problems and agree targets and action going forward.
  • Issuing legal letters and liaising with our solicitors
  • Filling out supplier forms
  • Ability to make detailed notes.

The successful Credit Controller with have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous Credit Control/Sales Ledger experience is ideal but not essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • MS Office proficient
