We are seeking a dedicated MFL French Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Hounslow. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language education across all year groups. This role requires a passionate educator who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and is ready to inspire young minds.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare and deliver French lessons that engage and challenge students of varying abilities.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes a love for the French language and culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate French across the curriculum.
- Participate in school events and activities related to language learning and cultural exchange.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practice and participate in professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in teaching French at primary school level.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy for language teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
