We are seeking a motivated and skilled newly qualified accountant with experience in audit, from a Top 10 practice to join an expanding team as an FP&A Analyst in Bathgate. Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the development of robust budgets, forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.
  • Performance analysis - Diving deep into financial data, identifying key trends, variances, and providing actionable insights into business performance.
  • Working closely with various departments to understand business drivers and support key investment and operational decisions.
  • Contributing to comprehensive financial reports and developing sophisticated financial models to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline FP&A processes and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified (within the last 12-18 months).
  • Top 10 Practice Background: Essential experience gained from a leading accounting firm, with a strong audit foundation.
  • You're naturally inquisitive, meticulous with data, and skilled at translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
  • A strong command of Excel is a must; experience with financial modelling is a significant advantage.
  • Confident in presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
  • A genuine interest in understanding business operations and contributing to commercial success.
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
