Financial Controller

Robert Walters are currently partnering with a brilliant SME business based in Bracknell, who are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the business whilst guiding and leading a brilliant team of Finance professionals. The business currently has a turnover of circa £60m with excellent sales and a strong pipeline ahead of them.

The successful candidate will accurately plan, track and report on the financial position of the business ensuring accurate accounting records and alignment with standards and best practice.

Other key responsibilities of the Financial Controller include:

- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Experience working multi nationally and dealing with the cash & tax exposure associated.
- Be able to monitor balance sheet with large attention to detail ensuring strong business cashflow.
- Be able to implement systems process improvement i.e transaction flow improvement.
- Lead, motivate and upskill existing Finance team made up of Accountants & Transactional Finance staff.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with post qualified experience in a Finance leadership role
  • Technically astute with experience of business operating in multiple countries and the complexities that arise with that. Multicurrency exposure is a must.
  • Excellent problem solving ability. Our clients business and needs are ever changing so someone who can roll sleeves up and find solutions is key.

Salary on offer is between £75,000 - £85,000 with hybrid working and additional benefits including health insurance and enhanced pension.
