Install Engineer
Kelida Solutions are a fire & security business based in Leeds who operate Nationally and specialise in providing customised fire & security solutions to homes, businesses, and public sector organisations throughout the U.K. The sectors we specialise in but are not limited to include; Student Accommodation, Education, Private Health, Commercial, Distribution & Retail.
With a large growing customer base and a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Install Engineer within the Yorkshire region to join our experienced team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of installing state-of-the-art fire detection, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.

Position Overview
As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the deployment of advanced security solutions. You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Fire & Security systems on a wide range of customer premises. This role involves working closely with clients and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of security projects.
Further duties will include -
- Ensure installations of systems are to a high standard and completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all installation activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety protocols.
- To meet with clients and communicate effectively during the installation process, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of installed systems to verify proper functionality.
- Complete all necessary company documentation punctually and in accordance with guidelines or schedules issued.
The successful candidate will have previous experience and a sound knowledge in installing and commissioning at least one of the following - Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
Key Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience is essential
- Full clean driving license
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- To be flexible with regards to working away, when required
- Proactive with a can-do approach to work
- Strong communication skills
What we offer
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Permanent contract
- Competitive salary of up to £40k basic per annum (dependant on experience) plus the opportunity for overtime
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Rising to 25 days with length of Service)
- Rolling on call rota 1 in 7 weeks
