Senior Finance Analyst - 12 month Fixed term

Location: Hatfield

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

We are supporting our client, a globally recognised business, in their search for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role offers the opportunity to be a strong business partner and play an integral part in the finance function, performing all accounting processes for your respective area. You will be more than just a number cruncher; you will add value by understanding data and aiding teams in making informed commercial decisions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become a trusted advisor within your site or customer function, providing expert knowledge to facilitate decision-making

What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be at the heart of our client's finance function. Your role will involve:

  • Business Partnering operations.
  • Performing all accounting processes for your area including the full month end process
  • Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Month end close reconciliations
  • Regular reporting on previous weeks activities & other ad hoc reporting
  • Ensuring that all KPI requirements are met
  • Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements

You will have the opportunity to truly understand your customer inside out, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Analyst role brings:

  • Effective time management skills and clear communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills,
  • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Customer-facing experience,
  • ACCA or CIMA qualification or QBE would be advantageous.
