Role Overview

As a Credit Control Administrator (cash team) you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and customer service teams with credit control and account management. Your responsibilities as part of a team will include:

  • Reviewing new account applications
  • Reconciling customer/supplier accounts
  • Managing relationships to resolve account queries
  • Communicating via email & telephone
  • Assisting with departmental tasks
  • Participating in ledger reviews
  • Collaborating with internal departments and the Financial Shared Service Centre
  • Supporting company audits

Credit Control

  • Managing sales ledger accounts
  • Chasing, reconciling, and allocating customer accounts
  • Placing and releasing accounts on hold
  • Raising credits and processing refunds
  • Managing various payment transactions

Skills and Attributes Required for the Credit Control Administrator (cash team)

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good numerical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sage, SAP knowledge is an advantage

The starting salary offered is £24,000 - £26,500 per annum (dependent on experience) The hours are a 37.5 hours a week, 8:30 - 17:00 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch, with hybrid working after probation.
