Marketing Executive

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks including developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; and preparing reports.

You will work 9 days a fortnight (every other Friday off). The Friday you work will be a 4-hour day. Start and finish times are flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and coordinate internal digital content
  • Preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organising promotional presentations; updating calendars.
  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Preparing marketing and advertising strategies plans, and objectives
  • Planning and organising promotional presentations
  • Track product line sales and costs by analysing and entering sales, expense, and new business data
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
  • Providing market trends, forecasts, account analyses
  • Trade show marketing; identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; stand design and literature production; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists
  • Build and maintenance of partner websites
  • Maintain the company's social media presence, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Maintain communication with hosting providers and software suppliers
  • Monitor and report web statistics
  • Various other ad hoc duties

Skills and experiences required

  • A related degree or 3 A-Levels A*- C preferred.
  • Good knowledge of IT, including all Microsoft packages, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop
  • Proven working knowledge of WordPress
  • Graphic design skills
  • Data-driven
  • High attention to detail
  • Passion for internet and technologies
  • Proactive with the ability to use initiative and to work autonomously
  • Well organised and ability to prioritise
  • Efficient time management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to function well with internal and external contacts at all levels, building effective working relationships

Working Schedule

Averages 37 hours a week

Week 1 Mon - Thursday 7.00a.m. - 4.15p.m

Friday 7.00a.m. - 11.00a.m.

Week 2 Mon - Thursday 7.00a.m. - 4.15p.m
