Warehouse Operative

My client is currently looking for Warehouse operatives to commence a role based in Maidenhead.

This is an ongoing role with potential for a permanent position with the company once complete.

Position Summary:

? The primary objective of this position is to manage both inventory both within the warehouse, electronically and externally, ordering and shipping goods as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Receive products through the goods inwards and distribute throughout the site to other departments.
  • Receive and confirm spare parts, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities are received, locate into the warehouse whulst maintaining stock integrity.
  • Receive spare parts orders from service personnel, pick and pack and distribute spare parts in a timely manner.
  • Dispatch products from other departments
  • Transport, coordinate and liase with couriers to ensure spare parts are distributed in a timely manner.
  • Pick, pack and return defective parts.
  • Carryout physical stock checks.
  • Maintain electronic inventory system
  • Log all receipts from all couriers.
  • Maintain register for all chemical waste collections.
  • Manage and coordinate, install and de-install of all equipment.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English
  • Knowledge of Warehouse, Logistics and Warehouse control desirable
  • Ability to communicate well
  • Strong IT skills

Pay rate: £15.00ph

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
